UBC Commerce Executive Education partners with ViRTUS to launch new Certificate in Effective Business Leadership
VANCOUVER, BC - April 4, 2003 -UBC Commerce Executive Education, in alliance with ViRTUS Inc., is launching a new joint Certificate in Effective Business Leadership. Through a combination of practical seminars and interactive business learning experiences the program will link leading edge methods, best practices, peer learning and directed coaching.
The UBC Certificate in Effective Business Leadership is a part-time, 2-year program targeted to executives and senior managers who have a strong desire to grow in their personal and professional life. The curriculum is designed to combine a series of UBC Executive Education Seminars, covering topics such as Finance for Non-Financial Managers, Strategic Planning, and Leadership, with monthly ViRTUS Exchanges(TM), where participants meet for half a day once a month to focus on goals and action plans, learn new skills, and get the kind of feedback you can rarely get within your own company.
The program begins in Fall 2003, and will be held at UBC Robson Square. Cost of certificate completion is $15,990.00.
