Shannon Lawder, Content Director

Shannon is the driving force behind the development of intellectual property and instructional design at ViRTUS. Her passion for taking the complex and making it simple, taking the theoretical and making it actionable, and taking the obscure and making it meaningful, has allowed ViRTUS to continually produce world-class, practical tools for our clients.

Since 2002, Shannon has played a number of key roles throughout the organization. Her ability to see the big picture has always been her greatest asset to the team.

Originally from Toronto, Shannon studied Communications at the University of Ottawa and recently earned her Executive Coaching Certification from Royal Roads University.

Prior to ViRTUS, Shannon spent time working in fundraising, event planning, project management and administration in the education, organizational consulting and shipping industries.
