Janon Hamel

Janon Hamel, MPA, CUG, ACC

Before partnering in a successful small business in BC from 1997 to 2009, Janon held several management positions, including Director of Human Resources, in various corporations in the manufacturing, telecommunications, and banking industry. Throughout her career, Janon designed and facilitated Leadership Development workshops and acted as a leadership coach within the corporations where she worked. She has been doing it formally as a career since 2007.

Janon is a Coach-U Graduate, with an ACC accreditation from the International Coach Federation and recently becoming the Communications Chair for the Vancouver ICF Chapter. She is also a certified NLP Master Practitioner. Obtaining a Masters Degree in Public Administration from the University of Quebec, she is also a certified Organizational Development consultant from CFC (Montreal -1990).

Janon currently volunteers as a mentor for the Women Enterprise Centre and as a coach for the Minerva Foundation. She also volunteers with Vantage Point where she facilitates workshops for leaders in not-for-profit organizations and participates in the Leadership Coaching Program held jointly with the ICF.

Happily married for 22 years, mother of one, step mother of 2, grandmother of 2, Janon is an avid reader, amateur piano player, golfer and boater. Her positive energy and her passion for life is contagious.
