Don Mainwaring, Mentor Emeritus
Don started his first business at 20 years of age and became a leading North American distributor of domestic and commercial products. He went on to create, build, and sell another four successful businesses before returning to school, in mid-life, to complete a Bachelor of Arts degree where he focused on counseling, coaching, and group process. For the last 25 years he has coached entrepreneurs, teaching them the personal and business skills and knowledge needed to bring exciting and innovative ideas to fruition.
As a Business Mentor, Don brings to the table a full 50 years of business experience, discipline, and structure, as well as an ongoing fascination with the development of people - from where they are now to where they want to be. He derives a great deal of satisfaction from helping business owners, managers, and executives reach their personal and business goals, steadily, month by month, until their increased level of skill and knowledge take over and they are able to proceed on their own. In his mid-70's, Don is an example of the ideal mentor: high energy, exuberance, humor, intelligence, success, wisdom, and empathy.
