Robert Landucci, Mentor Emeritus
Bob is President and owner of Crescentview Investments Ltd., a private real estate and development company that he has been involved in since 1968. From 1999 to 2003, he was President and Shareholder in Anthem Industrial, a development company in the industrial land development business.
After graduating from Simon Fraser University in 1970, Bob worked for 27 years in the coastal lumber industry. He founded his own manufacturing business in 1976 and grew it into the largest independent custom remanufacturing facility in British Columbia. In 1998, the company was forced to close due to shrinking raw material supply, rising labor costs, and U.S. quota restrictions.
During this time, Bob was also involved as investor, owner, and director of several businesses from retailing to mining. He served as chairman of Western Red Cedar Association and director of COFI for seven years. As well, since 1972, Bob has been active in real estate development acting as an investor and as a principal in residential, commercial and industrial developments in Greater Vancouver, Whistler, and Calgary.
Bob has been actively involved with YPO and WPO as a Forum Officer and was on the Chapter Executive for a total of six years. He is currently the WPO BC Chapter Chairman. He also has lectured at the SFU Continuing Education Business Program on "Financing Your Business" from 1988 to 1991.
